General Rules

oo1. Godmoding and powerplaying are no allowed, simple as that, but we are also putting a ban on metaplaying, which is inserting OOC knowledge into your characters. Say Sue kills Bob, Tim can't know this unless he was in the thread and watching.

oo2. Play nice, really we aren't to bad when it comes to rules, we just ask that you use your common sense so we don't have to write more up.

oo3. You can have as many wolves as you want as long as you keep them active and they all have their separate accounts, I know this is a pain but it makes it easier to tell how many of each race we have.


Positing Rules

oo1. Post scripts are allowed but are to be kept to a maximum of 500 pixels wide, any wider and they'll be deleted without warning.

oo2. Minimum 200 words please, but if you jump into a thread with a long intro please keep up that sort of length, it's only fair to the person you're roleplaying with. Just make sure there is something for other to reply to is all we're asking.

oo3. Spelling, grammar, punctuation and proofreading are a must, the occasional mistake is fine but don't go crazy.

oo4. We arn't going to use wolf lingo here, things like tassel's , orbs, fatales and stuff like that won't be seen here. For a sample of acceptable word usage, read pretty much any published novel. You don't see them using words like "orbs" for eyes or "auds" for ears, do you?

oo5. OOC planning is absolutely not allowed here, you can ask someone to roleplay with you and get people to adopt characters but you can't plan out what will happen in a thread or plot to kill someone. Any plot that unfolds will unfold in IC unless a sight wide plot is created.

oo6. If there is a thread already in progress then ask the permission of all the members participating before jumping in.

oo7. What your character is saying and thinking should be distinguished from the rest of your post. Doesn't matter if it's by color, bold or italics, just make sure its different from the rest of your post.


Graphic Content Rules

oo1. Graphic violence is allowed, wolves are naturally violent creatures so this is encouraged, plus it might lead to a good plot.

oo2. Graphic mating is also allowed, but just remember a warning and that this isn't a wolf porn site and fade outs are fine as well.

oo3. Swearing and cursing, go ahead, people do it all the time, but once again, don't go crazy.

oo4. Warnings are to be used as you see fit.


In Character Rules

oo1. Follow the descriptions of each race, you cannot make a beautiful, elegant, kind tainted, nor can you make a wicked, ugly perfect. Follow the height requirements as well, not too many giant wolves or overly skinny or muscular wolves, keep some variety please!

oo2. Be bold! Since we don't allow OOC planning any plots have to unfold around your characters.

oo3. Aging will happen, we have an IC to OOC calender that will be updated every month but there are 2 in character seasons in an out of character month which means 2 months out of character = 1 year in character. Aging will be changed by the admins every in character month so don't worry about it.

oo4. Death happens, and here it happens often, in real life you don't need permission to kill so you don't need to here either. If you don't want your wolf to die then don't put them in those situations.

oo5. If your character gives birth, you're in control of the litter: numbers, genders, appearances, everything. For a while, you can play all the little baby pups on your mother or father's account as you please, but after they mature, you must give each pup his or her seperate account. If you don't want to play a pup and can't find anyone, we can put them for adoption in the Public Area.

Fighting

oo1. All fights involving more then two wolves, whether it is a spar or a serious fight must have a posting order. Once all participants have posted this order should be listed in the first post of the fight.

oo2. During fights there are two types of dodges, a full dodge (when your character evades the attack completely) and partial dodges (opponent doesn't get intended hold but still hits somewhere). Currently only one full dodge is allowed per fight, any more will mean an automatic loss, and there are no limit to partial dodges.

oo3. If your wolf has a chance of dying in your current thread please don't go and make a thread placed afterwards for just in case your character does die.

oo6. If a challenge is made for a rank or pack the defendant has 3 days to respond (unless the defendant is on vacation) before the challenger gets what they are challenging for.


Other Rules

oo1. The mods word is law, listen to them and everythings good. We're operating on a 3 strike system, three strikes and your out so make sure you follow the rules!



NOTE;; Eden is an island, so there is water on all sides. More territories will be discovered as the story progresses but this means that your wolf can't come from the Arctic or anything. Also we are going to try and embed some codes for a fighting and healing system so look forward to that <3
